On our walking outings, we usually go about three or four miles - but occasionally a bit more or less. We do not rush along, but neither do we dawdle. On our bird watching outings we go at a slower pace, expecting many hopeful encounters. We dress for the weather in layers, wear hiking boots, and bring backpacks with lunch, water and binoculars. Thus prepared, we thoroughly enjoy our day in the outdoors. back to top |
